The CMA found in November that American Express Global Business Travel’s planned purchase of rival CWT was likely to lessen competition substantially....
But, under pressure from the Govt. it has reversed that provisional judgment and now says the purchase will not result in a “substantial lessening of competition”.

After the semi-neutering of the Competition & Marketing Authority it will come as no surprise to your that ministers are 'exploring' weakening proposed legal requirements for the Big Four to share their work with smaller auditors....

🃏 One thing that comes up constantly when looking into #OligarchWebHosting & its #OligarchWebHostingCulture is that there is specific attributes to the nature of the under investigation frauds' perpetrated, perpetually, especially as a PR move where some companies are able to, regardless of the bad PR which would severely impact valuations & the ' under the microscope ' nature decision making Disaster PR move wise that leadership goes through normally that a publicly traded company gets is very highly scrutinized by the marketplace ordeal.
However these same specific patterns of poor decisions, over and over, repeated missteps, patterns of abuse over and over and over again done, there ARE cracks in this #PR veneer that develop & ' the company ruses ' show itself in the data that that company puts out into the marketplace. The analysts' also put out their spin on the data about that company or set of companies in its business orbit. 🃏

🃏 By all logic without certain financial backing of some very specific investors' some of the things that would normally be ruinous to the valuations have a tendency to stand out more so than others. History has shown that there are several examples of this ruinous company behavior and it's always around the DATA that these company examples hold in the marketplace & the usefulness of this data, usually, to outside their companies interests.
🃏 There does come a point to where there is SO. MUCH. FRAUD. at a business core, & the FRAUD has been going on for SO LONG at that company or companies that scrutiny & hearings are started and the path to ' explain yourself, corporation who is a person ' but run by unaccountables, except to the marketplace, & oversight committees, happens though.
