Why not both.
He proved to be evil a long time ago. He still had an aura of, lack of ethics, but smart.
But no, he has, like most of the super rich, got a super opportunity, at the right time, and not only having it, abused it to fuck other people and build his wealth on it.
And of course, the initial opportunity chance was bigger for him, because he is already privileged in this World: white, male, in the right place.So no, not smart. Privileged with some luck.
And all this AI debacle that is starting gives me tremendous Schadenfreude and I hope it can accelerate fast so we don't have to destroy our planet and sanity because those rich assholes can't even think straight outside of their greed and their pathologic need for power and control.
Fuck them and the current AI trend.
