"It happened during a historic match between one of the world’s best Go players and AlphaGo, a computer program developed by Google’s DeepMind lab to conquer this ancient board game. The artificial-intelligence system stunned everyone by winning their opening showdown. In their next encounter, with millions of people watching online all over the world, Lee Sedol took a midgame smoke break to calm his nerves.
"When he came back, he looked at the 37th move. He couldn’t believe his eyes.
"Go, like chess, is a strategy game with black and white pieces that unfolds one move at a time. As he stared at the black stone that AlphaGo dropped on the board, Lee saw a move that no professional Go player would have made. In fact, the DeepMind team calculated the chances of a human playing it at one in 10,000.
"The novel move was so unconventional and counterintuitive that nobody could be sure what to make of it. At first, commentators believed it was a strategic blunder. They soon realized it was a masterstroke.
" 'This move,' Lee said, 'made me think about Go in a new light.'
"Ten years after that illuminating Move 37, the entire world is suddenly beginning to feel like one massive Go board."

Either way I digress. The CxU has a lot of experience with Zombies as their main voters and Vampires as their main candidate options. So there is a potential synergy here. #thinkOutsideTheBox

Both Rep. Ro Khanna on #FnS and Sen. Corey Booker on #MtP called for "expanding the court" & "term limits" (Khanna went even further, limiting every prez to "2 appointments"… leaving a vacancy to the next prez if they already got their two.) 🤦♂️ 😒
NO NO NO NO.
There IS a way to reform the court w/o resorting to likely unconstitutional modifications sure to be challenged by the #GOP:

I love it when people can think outside of the box and show middle finger to “best practices”. Take the newsletter Dense Discovery as an example. It has reader forum which has no: signup, login form profile, password.

I remind everyone Justice Roberts "saved" the #ACA with basically the same argument:"The government can tax you for breathing if they want to."
Seeing him raise this same argument again reinforces my argument that the best way to quickly & dramatically curb gun violence is to #TaxGunpowder #TaxCordite #ThinkOutsideTheBox

I found these decorative abominations on clearance this weekend for $3.99 each. Cloches can be pricey so I hope to tear these apart and use them to host my felted creatures. Will have to handle gingerly so as not break the glass. I like that they have lighting and are rechargeable. If successful, these will make lovely displays. #ThinkOutsideTheBox #maker #repurpose

Note his plan to purchase "500 rounds of ammunition". I've LONG advocated for a #GunpowderTax raising the cost to around $100/bullet (not unreasonable to if it's to protect your family.)

Actually, we don't need to "ban" private jets to mitigate the damage they do.There are ways for them to use less fuel and minimize/eliminate exhaust.
Embed a "slingshot" in runways (like on aircraft carriers) to launch planes using less fuel. Once in flight, use #Hybrid engines for less exhaust and better mileage. #ThinkOutsideTheBox
