The world of #TheScarletMirror in the #FatedByFire Series, for sure. It's a #fantasy world, and despite how ugly things can get in certain places, it's also peaceful and pleasant in others. It's also far less brutal than, say, my #cyberpunk and #SFF universe where #TheCityOfOpulence and the #DigitalDystopia Series is set. I don't even *need* to describe how miserable and dystopian cyberpunk settings are. And this isn't even a world where I *would* be a hero. I'm just me, a normie, a civilian and a regular person. Yep, no thank you. I'd be homeless (or dead) if I was on Citune, the world where that series takes place. Worse, even, if I had found my way into the city of Ethera, especially as a woman. I'd be (human) trafficked within seconds.

Yes, I have. I’ve had to focus on smaller-scale cutting: certain sentences, phrases, words, etc. What an enormous sharpening effect judicious cutting has had on the story, and hopefully on the readers as well. And also, like the prompt suggests, I made changes for redundancy, plot, over explanation, cleanliness, pace and literary effect. It cleaned things up quite a bit, and I’ve been feeling rather proud of the finished product (for now). It made a huge difference.

I’ve been working on that for #TheCityOfOpulence as well, a part of the #DigitalDystopia series. Nothing *gigantic* for the plot has been changed, though.

I’ve had to focus on smaller-scale cutting: certain sentences, phrases, words, etc. What an enormous sharpening effect judicious cutting has had on the story, and hopefully on the readers as well. And also, like the prompt suggests, I made changes for redundancy, plot, over explanation, cleanliness, pace and literary effect. It cleaned things up quite a bit, and I’ve been feeling rather proud of the finished product (for now). It made a huge difference.

I’ve been working on that for #TheCityOfOpulence as well, a part of the #DigitalDystopia series. Nothing *gigantic* for the plot has been changed, though.
