Alaska saw their #ACA enrollment drop by over 9% out of the gate, with over 2,600 fewer residents signing up during Open Enrollment this year. The ~26,000 who did so are paying over $1,400 *more* in premiums plus a slight increase in their out of pocket expenses in 2026...over $1,500 more total.

Someone argued with me before that all #healthcare plans in the #USA are #ACA plans. Simply not true.
Insurers and health care providers receiving insurance payments often find the ACA market less profitable for them.
And the insured are dropping or downgrading their ACA plans now as they face higher insurance premiums.
