I've used it irregularly over the years, and sometimes it's been incredibly helpful and other times helpful in a minor way.
Imagine my surprise when this weird thing you do - tapping on different acupuncture points on your face and hands and upper body - is now covered by Medicare.
In the 20+ years that I've been using it there have been hundreds of studies that show that EFT actually works, not just qualitative studies but also quantitative study using MRIs and others using measurements of cortisol to indicate stress levels. In other words, it's weird but as far as we can tell it's valid.
I don't talk about it a lot because again, it's pretty weird and a lot of people think I'm weird enough. But if you are a senior living in the US, covered by Medicare, you might be interested in looking this information over. I'm not proselytizing, but I do feel it's important enough to share.
In my experience, it helps with pain, it helps with anxiety.

Private health insurance has become one of Australia's biggest corporate welfare schemes.
The last federal budget handed the industry $8 billion in taxpayer subsidies. Meanwhile, Bupa paid $536 million to its UK parent company, and NIB spent $214 million on marketing and commissions alone.
Just five insurers control 82% of the market. They lobby for more public money, deliver returns that rival or exceed the big banks, and pour millions into advertising that helps convince Australians they can't afford to be without private cover.
After paying around $70,000 in premiums, Michael West received less than a month's worth back when he lost hearing in one ear. Medicare covered most of the operation.
