Yeah definitely. Those are peace officers, rather than the policy enforcers we see today. What seems to have happened is that people sign up to be peace officers, then they get bullied, tricked/coerced into enforcing policies rather than protecting the peace.

I have an interesting interview on my forum where an officer (possibly sheriff) proves this. The interviewer, an expert on law, states some laws and tells him that he’s breaking them. He defends his position and makes the statement that’s what we do over and over despite being called out on breaking the laws.

This is literally exactly the same as being denied entry because of your skin color.

It’s quite alarming how after the officer is educated, he continuously says “This is how we do it” (don’t remember the exact wording) which is literally him saying he knows he’s violating his oath and the law.

So fucked. I discovered an interesting study from a few years ago. They were studying the psychological effects of wearing masks, but keep in mind these were consenting adults not wearing them for 8+ hours a day for more than a year. Here's a couple quotes from the study.

in the masked condition, they felt less themselves: e.g. less like a person, felt that there was no ‘me’, felt that they had lost part of their identity, or felt that their personality had changed. It also includes two participants who talked about this transformation more in terms of becoming an-other: i.e. they felt like they had a different identity, like they were ‘a little bit alien’, like they had become ‘a stranger…, somebody else, somebody anonymous’, or like they were ‘someone different’

…you do feel a little bit alien, because you know that you appear strange to other people… It made you feel less like a person, that you haven’t got a face, you haven’t got that bit of you which other people see first and quite often recognise you by, so it sort of takes away a bit of your identity, and—I dunno…

That’s insane. Putting masks on children in general is a horrible thing. This article i wrote goes over quite a bit of the psychological effects of wearing a mask, from data of a study of many adults wearing them.

I also go over the misinformation regarding pulse oximetry and why this does nothing to determine if your suffocating or not.

I highly recommend this article for anyone, especially if you sometimes wear masks or if you have children. The study i reference is incredibly informative and really interesting.

If you have asthma, definitely read this.

As much as I’m against the pharmaceutical industry, their drugs do sometimes have their uses.

Many years ago, they banned epinephrine inhalers from being available over the counter.

The only way you could get those or albuterol inhalers was by obtaining a prescription, which is absolutely fucked.

Anyway, sometime in the last couple years, Epinephrine inhalers are now available again over the counter, expensive, but useful.

So if you have asthma, or if you smoke, or vape, especially salts, do yourself a favor and grab a couple.

Also, there are a few other things that can help during an asthma attack.

Inhaling steam, inhaling essential oil infused steam, even just some regular breathing techniques that require nothing at all.

There are many essential oils that help, but eucalyptus is probably the best. A good tactic to use them in an emergency is up just put some on some toilet paper or paper towel, or a clean washcloth, then hold it over your mouth and inhale deeply. It’s not a great idea to completely cover your mouth, because you want some airflow so just hold it very close but not touching.

I have a feeling the inhalers will be hard to come by in the future, so prepare.
