Since I started watching #TheCharismaticVoice on YouTube I'm a bit more appreciative of singers' skills.
Also I heard a few days ago that singing at #ESC is live (instruments are playback since soundchecks would be logistically impossible to do) and #Autotune isn't allowed. So the Ukrainian singer was very impressive in that respect, even though I didn't like the song as such.

I listen almost exclusively to #Spanish #language #music. I don't listen to #BadBunny. Why? Because he can't sing and uses #autotune to fake it. I love that he is trolling #MAGA at the #SuperBowl (which I never watch), but a #musician he is not.

@gcluley I've enjoyed listening to the *radio* for as long as I can remember but increasingly I've had to reach for the classical preset because #autotune simply creeps me out.

Broadcast media has already been ('civilizationally') disrupted by manipulative online enterprises and I can only desperately hope this artificial 'art' slop doesn't kill radio for me too.

Can't wait for Zita-AT2 to come out! The demos were just very impressive. Fons used Will Godfrey's isolated voice from one of his songs and ran it through Zita-AT2 to showcase its possibilities. For this version Fons used a completely different approach because he wanted to release a version that maintains formants.
