As much as history seems to tell us that boycotts and blackouts do very little when it comes to tech companies, I do wish the PlayStation players luck in their upcoming boycott. I really hope it makes Sony change direction. As a Switch 2 user, I'm very concerned Nintendo will follow suit if Sony gets away with this.

#DoorDash has come out in vocal support of H.R. 9720, a blatant attack on communities in Washington DC. This legislation would strip away basic power from DC’s local elected government. DoorDash is pushing for it because they don’t want to pay a 20-cent fee for food access programs for low-income families. All those things are not okay with us.
DC communities are calling on all allies to #DeleteDoorDash until our demands are met.

El capitán Charles Boycott trabajaba en el año de 1880 gestionando las propiedades de un terrateniente ausente en el condado de Mayo, en Irlanda, durante una época de graves crisis agrícolas y malas cosechas en la región. Ante la difícil situación económica de los campesinos locales, la Liga de la Tierra Irlandesa solicitó una reducción del 25 % en el costo de los alquileres de los campos para permitir la supervivencia de las familias. El administrador no solo rechazó la petición de forma tajante, sino que intentó expulsar de sus hogares a once trabajadores que no pudieron cubrir los pagos completos exigidos. Para lograr levantar las cosechas de los campos bajo su resguardo, el hombre tuvo que traer a cincuenta trabajadores externos escoltados por un ejército de más de 900 soldados, una operación que costó muchísimo más dinero que el valor real de los cultivos rescatados. Incapaz de sostener la presión del aislamiento absoluto y el rechazo de toda la comunidad, el administrador abandonó Irlanda con su familia el 1 de diciembre de ese mismo año, dejando su apellido convertido en el término internacional para describir la acción de cortar vínculos con una organización o persona como forma de protesta.

For anyone that is viewing my page, I am still active on Mastodon. I am currently on an offensive campaign against Meta using their own platform (Instagram) by posting anti-Meta and anti- big tech content.
I was able to create a new account after having my account banned for posting CTF content and refusing to provide government ID to unlock it. However, GrapheneOS + VPN gave me the capability to bypass the system that was tracking my device and network fingerprinting.
I refuse to cave to censorship and data harvesting. This is a digital rebellion.

The brothers that bought Myspace are planning to do a re-launch soon as an anti-algorithm social media platform similar to what Mastodon has done. I will be creating an account with them once that is launched just to see what they plan on doing with it. I do enjoy some HTML :ablobcatbongokeyboard: -
