The Orange parade, due to occur on Sunday 27 (but successfully prevented from marching that day by ordinary people gathering in Garvaghy), was officially permitted by the state Parades Commission, but not by the residents, 28 years after the parade was effectively banned, after a series of loyalist (orange) killings of innocent Irish civilians.

The right-wing and conservative campaign against the possibility of a left-wing government in Berlin is fierce. Almost impressively fierce.
One might almost wish the media had shown the same urgency when the Nazis were concerned.
But then, capital has rarely been particularly frightened by fascists. The left is a different matter. The left might actually question who gets to keep the power, the money, and the keys to the building.
Anyway. Time to fight some more, I suppose. 🐙

The far-right mob has gone completely feral. Their morale has shot up by 200%, and apparently they’ve decided that public shame is now an obsolete concept. They feel legitimate now.
They’re even louder. Even nastier. More confident.
I’ll keep fighting the bastards, of course. I’m not going to hand them the field.
But honestly? I’m getting depressed. Fighting fascists is exhausting, especially when they start cheering.
