Megalopolis - Decided to give it a shot, esp. after Sight & Sound put it in their Top 50, but turns out they're just asslicking Coppola - This is an absolute dog's dinner of a film. Bad FX, mountains of painful, laboured visual metaphors, a script with enormous unexplained holes (where did Dustin Hoffman go? etc) and no chemistry whatsoever between the leads. Managed to watch it all, but only because it kept us laughing. -
