I cheated in a dream last night.

I was with a bunch of people in a wooden ship who were trying to sail somewhere up a frozen mountain river, but the river was small and (obviously) frozen. The ship didn't have a decent means of propulsion, and at one point on the mountain we got stuck.

But I walked ahead and found a more modern ship frozen in place. We had some use for the snow, for some reason, and I was looking over the new ship to see if moving it might make it easier for us to get up the river.

Then it occurred to me that we could probably just switch to the new ship. But It seemed that it was out of fuel.

So I quickly revised it to make it even •more• modern and give it an everlasting nuclear engine. No fuel needed, apart from the engine itself which was a sealed unit. And while I was at it I gave it icebreaking and mountain-climbing capabilities.

Now THAT'S cheating in a dream! 🤪
