#ShadowGenerations is incredibly #shonen. It straight up becomes #Dragonball and I love it. The doom spears move is exactly like #ki in Dragon ball, and the doom kick move is like when they knock someone around and teleport around the arena. It's integrated into the game and level design so well but it definitely feels like you're straight up #Vegeta at times. Awesome game.

I am on a #Mecha / #Mech kick.

It may be the main reason there is not more literature featuring giant robots is they are a borderline #Shonen sub genre of #PowerFantasy and most of the defining characteristics of the genre are visual.

Meaning most stories could be told as straitfoward war fiction.

I think some of the strengths of prose fiction is we can juxtapose associations by changing a noun. The same story will become more surreal, confrontational with artifice and escapist all at once.
