My favorite mind-mapping app that I use pretty much every day adds in support for... #LaTeX ! 🤯 🎉
I don't do anything these days with LaTex (and haven't for probably 20 years), but it's pretty cool that some of the things that have been around for a looonnng time continue to be used and to grow.
Yea for all the command-line stuff that came out of UNIX days! 🎉

Un théorème de la créativité que j'utilise régulièrement lors de processus de production. J'ai voulu représenter une structure à l’œuvre observée sur la durée de fabrication d'un objet artistique. C'est comme une carte pour savoir où on en est. Dans une narration, au moins un personnage passe par toutes ces étapes, les autres étant comme spécialisés ou arrêtés à certaines des phases.

After working with many different game and physics engines I decided to work on my own physics engine and maybe extend it later for games.
During experiments and debugging, I get interesting forms and patterns, that I want to share.
Here you see circles with the connection to the closest point on the wall/line in the middle.
And I really like this pattern reminding me of a mindmap-like construct.Did you work on something and the result was totally different or for another purpose?

TreeTime 2025.4 just released: • Types • Error Checks • Bug fixes.
In the meta editor, input fields are now have a type (text/numerical/any), and are filtered. There are a couple of error checks in the meta editor (like a warning when you try to define infinite recursion). Bug fixes include a fixed error in the text export, a crash, a problem with the meta editor, and a wrong start page.

• Meta editing • New tree fields _Product_ and _Reciprocal_ • Hidden fields • New file dialog • Bug fixes.Main new feature: The data meta structure, i.e. how many trees there are, what they're called, what fields there are and how they're defined, can now be edited from the GUI. You can define any combination of the available operators, on parents, siblings, or children of any node, in the GUI.

When I was in university (before word processors and even for quite a while after) I would write a long paper or thesis using index cards that would allow me to capture a thought or reference in the moment, then visually rearrange them on a table before I'd start writing. These days we have all kinds of #mindmap apps and the like for this kind of #writing process. For any who've tried a few things of this nature and settled on something they like, what do you use and why? Boosts cool.
