  5. @AwetTesfaiesus
    Mmh.
Also, CSV Einlesen und automatisch Kategorien bauen in #TreeTime hatte ich sowieso vor. Damit ginge dann:

    F. Hier sind meine Kontoumsätze, wieviel habe ich ausgegeben im letzten Jahr?
A: Deutsche Bahn:..., Amazon: ..., Etsy: ..., Edeka: ..., etc.
F: Wie weit bin ich in diesem Jahr im Vergleich?
    A: +/- X Prozent, pro Woche/Monat/Kategorie/etc

Wäre aber eher mittelfristig, nicht sofort. Komplett automatische Überkategorien wie Lebensmittel (=Quarrefour/Tesco/Waitrose/Edeka/Lidl) oder Kleidung (?) wird schwierig.

  14. TreeTime 2025.3 just released:
    • Meta editing • New tree fields _Product_ and _Reciprocal_ • Hidden fields • New file dialog • Bug fixes.

Main new feature: The data meta structure, i.e. how many trees there are, what they're called, what fields there are and how they're defined, can now be edited from the GUI. You can define any combination of the available operators, on parents, siblings, or children of any node, in the GUI.

  18. Today was my weekly dose of Tree Time, so I headed to my favorite river spot. I had some company in the form of various fire & rescue units conducting swiftwater rescue training...They were mostly quiet, so we got along just fine.

In reaction to several turns of recent events, TreeTime is starting to move away from #GitHub to #Codeberg: codeberg.org/jkanev/treetime#r

There will be a transition period in which both repositories will receive updates in parallel.

The installable packages in #Pypi, the webpage on tree-time.info, and the documentation in #readthedocs will stay unaffected.

My todo list exceeds all bounds. I cannot turn without remembering something urgent that I should've finished by yesterday.

What shall I say. Still done nothing, but the todo list manager I wrote has a web server now.

  33. #TreeTime #TreeEditor #DataManagement #MindMap

I noticed that in one of the pictures (the flat layout graph in the post before) there are some crossings: The "Germany" node crosses over "England", and "Bulgaria" and "Macedonia" cross over. While still correct, this doesn't look so nice. What do you think, is this benign or grave?
