Feels a bit weird, and sad, to be honest:

switching away from #firefox for #librefox, due to doubts in 'the new features and possible interests' felt honestly like coming home to a more welcoming mindset again.

#LibreFox on the desktop because it's not chromium-based and allows me to avoid the current misdevelopments I see in Mozilla's #Firefox.
#Fennec on Android. Downloaded from #FDroid. For similar reasons.

I like the fact that Firefox-based browsers allow me to chose from a variety of #FOSS add-ons that enable me to increase my level of privacy - such as #uBlockOrigin, #LibDirect etc.

@x2effe @ironicmoka in effetti #librefox è fatto proprio per chi vuol avere un browser sicuro senza smadonnare con le configurazioni e settaggi. A chi piace prendersi un po' di tempo per configurare alla perfezione il browser può continuare ad usare il più versatile #firefox.

@lealternative @latanalinda @Vega @hardwired @Madmonkey @selectallfromdual aggiungo che al programma bat/brave rewards ha aderito Wikipedia, non so se può bastare come garanzia per la privacy.

#firefox invece si è dimostrato poco sensibile alla privacy degli utenti tanto che ci sono ben 2 progetti per cercano di far diventare firefox un browser più rispettoso verso gli utilizzatori e meno asservito a Google , #librewolf e #librefox:

@switchedtolinux #wokefox 😂 I switched to #librefox about a week ago and I like it minus a few rough edges -- by default the Password Manager is disabled and I can't get the integration plugin working to link up to #NextCloud passwords manager app but otherwise it's been solid.

I think #geminispace tries to depart from the #helpmybrowserisaoperatingsystem and go back to KISS -- worth a watch

I don't think LibreWolf is ready for the average user, I hope to see that change this year.
