Happy #Wednesday from a rather hot and sunny #Gwent.
Our lilies are popping open in the garden. I grow them for their scent and also for the wildlife value.
This is the original Silk Road which is an absolute beast of a plant.
This lily stands at around 7 feet tall.
When eatablished, each stem can hold up to 12 blooms and stand as much as 8 feet tall.Now, that's what I call wow factor.
There is another pretender in the trade called Friso... they are NOT the same thing.

Gwent in Witcher 3 is the peak of all card games but they could not replicate THE VIBE in the mobile version and it makes me angry.
It is the only card game that has ever managed to catch my interest and keep it, but the mobile one killed it mid shuffle.

The weather is absolutely glorious here in the #Gwent valleys.
I'm hoping for some decent #autumn #colour on our Acers and Rowan's this autumn.
All these years later, I still feel the thrills of preparing to go back to uni at this time of the year.
A lovely feeling I will always treasure.
Some late flowering sanguisorbas are providing nourishment for the bees and everything is good in the world...for now.
