My final match of the season, watching #ChepstowTown sadly lose a playoff to be in the #CymruSouth next season. Ynyshir Albions* the victors, 2-0.

* Ynyshir, @sreb23.bsky.social pointed out, sounds like a sneeze. And yes, it is AlbionS (plural), I’m guessing because they were formed from a merger between several other sides. Fun fact: their nickname is The Buns, I know not why.

A tense and nervy 1-1 draw at Chepstow Town vs Goytre, with both sides in the hunt for second place in the Ardal South East league (which puts them into a playoff with the runners-up of the South West). The visitors still hold their fate in their own hands, and Chepstow are left hoping others do them a favour.

Another grand day out at the football, ticking off another new ground as we enjoyed Chippenham Town vs Weston Super Mare. Friendly club, two good sets of fans, and a lovely afternoon despite a pretty turgid game. 2-0 to the hosts, somewhat against the run of play, if you’re interested.
