8 years ago Tŵt was just a little idea. Today, I’m posting from the beta of our very own custom app thanks to @newsmast Apps For Change.
As I look at this little screen, I’m thinking of 8 years from now. I hope by then, this isn't "tech stuff" anymore, it's how we just talk to each other.
The Defaidodon machine is going mobile, see you in 2034!

#MagnusMaximus, or #MacsenWledig in Welsh, was Western Roman Emperor from 383 to 388AD. According to legend, when he left Britain he transferred authority back to the Britons. Maximus is regarded as the founding father of several medieval Welsh kingdoms, including #Powys and #Gwent.
According to some sources, his descendants include the legendary mythical figures #UtherPendragon and #KingArthur. He is referenced in the Welsh song and football anthem #YmaOHyd by #DafyddIwan

Time for Chris Mepham. Now Chris was born in Hammersmith, #London, so he gets a coin of #Vespasian, found in Hammersmith. Now you have to remember that Vespasian was, of course, quite busy in Wales, so the connection is a touch tenuous but about as sound as we're going to get on this one 😉.

Okay, let's get going with the defenders today. should get through about half of them!
Ben Davies was born in #Neath, from where we find this excellent late Bronze Age socketed axe - a rare spot, with the style of axe more common in east Wales, England and France.
