And another parkrun in the bag. This time the Kagerzoom parkrun. My 1st there. Many UK parkrunners coming over to the NL in large numbers for a weekend of parkrunning. Today there were 378 participants! 😵💫.

I'm pushing my luck a little but with a compressed lifespan what the hell.
Last minute trip to the Netherlands for an extra parkrun. Basically 24 hours and done and the equivalent of £27 a minute for the actual #parkrun at Kagerzoom.
Hats off to the joyous crowd and the local tennis club that did fine coffee and Heineken Zero on tap. 😎

Today I decided to join a club ride again. The weather was lovely and sunny, with little wind and great company. The first 100km in years and it wasn't disappointing. My (cycling) fitness is still great. Another Parkrun tomorrow 😊

So a lovely (if rather hot) #parkrun for my 9th attempt. And did manage a PB, so that's nice! A little sore in the knees, but nothing that a lazy sunny Bank Holiday won't fix!

It’s Edinburgh marathon weekend, so 739 runners turned up for Edinburgh parkrun this morning. Great atmosphere, and lots of parkrun tourists judging by the volume of clapping after the first timers briefing. I had a lovely chat with some Norwegians from Trondheim on the way round, they will be half-marathoning tomorrow (probably the better choice, looking at the weather forecast (bit hot by Edinburgh standards)).

I turned left and headed North straight into Norwich for a fast, flat and busy urban event (3 and a bit laps on hardcore). So congested to start that I was able to take my top off without stopping, was then able to pick up the pace to finish 2nd lady in 20:16. Fastest time this year (and it felt it, afterwards) #running #RunnersOfMastodon

Summer came in hot at #volksgartenparkrun today! 🔥 Felt like 20°C warmer than last week. 121 finishers + 23 volunteers fought through the heat in Düsseldorf. Some of the Volksgarten regulars are off to the 🇳🇱 for Monday’s #parkrunspecial - no cool-down in sight! #parkrun
