Here's me at the Dune: Awakening booth at Gamescom 2024 and 2025, cosplaying Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII, who would probably survive Arrakis, too. Thanks to the patient group of cosplayers who waited until I repeated all the shots because I had forgotten to take off my out-of-character stuff. :D

Samsung na Gamescom 2025. Nowe monitory Odyssey i nowe gry 3D bez okularów

Samsung zaznaczył swoją silną obecność na tegorocznych targach Gamescom w Kolonii, prezentując nowości ze swojej gamingowej serii Odyssey.

Firma pokazała premierowe, wielkoformatowe monitory, rozszerzyła ekosystem gier 3D niewymagających okularów i pochwaliła się współpracą z największymi producentami gier, którzy prezentowali swoje hity właśnie na sprzęcie koreańskiego producenta.

Centralnym punktem stoiska Samsunga były dwa zupełnie nowe monitory – 37- i 40-calowe modele Odyssey G7 (G75F). Zostały one wyposażone w technologie takie jak HDR10+ Gaming, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro oraz system podświetlenia CoreSync, który dopasowuje kolory do akcji na ekranie. Oprócz premierowych urządzeń, firma prezentowała pełną gamę swoich ekranów, w tym ultraszybki monitor Odyssey OLED G6 z odświeżaniem 500 Hz oraz model OLED G8 oferujący rozdzielczość 4K przy 240 Hz.

CES 2025: Nowe monitory Samsung, ultraszybki OLED, gamingowy monitor 3D

Duży nacisk położono na rozwój technologii Odyssey 3D, która umożliwia rozgrywkę z efektem trójwymiaru bez konieczności zakładania specjalnych okularów. Dzięki śledzeniu wzroku użytkownika, monitor na bieżąco dostosowuje efekty głębi. Samsung ogłosił, że biblioteka gier w aplikacji Odyssey 3D Hub zostanie do końca roku podwojona – z 28 do ponad 50 zoptymalizowanych tytułów. Wśród nich znajdą się między innymi takie produkcje jak Stellar Blade, Lies of P: Overture czy MONGIL: STAR DIVE.

Siłę marki Odyssey na rynku gamingowym podkreślały partnerstwa z czołowymi studiami deweloperskimi. Na stoisku firmy Blizzard można było przetestować nadchodzące rozszerzenie World of Warcraft: Midnight na ponad 80 stanowiskach wyposażonych w monitory Odyssey OLED G6. Z kolei firma Pearl Abyss do prezentacji swojej wyczekiwanej gry Crimson Desert wykorzystała ponad 180 monitorów Samsunga, w tym modele Odyssey OLED G6 i G8.

Przedstawione na Gamescom 2025 nowości mają umocnić pozycję Samsunga jako lidera na rynku monitorów dla graczy. Firma, powołując się na dane International Data Corporation (IDC), poinformowała, że w pierwszym kwartale 2025 roku po raz szósty z rzędu zajęła pierwsze miejsce w globalnej sprzedaży, osiągając 18,9% udziału w rynku pod względem wartości.
