today is the day i installed #cachyos on my main desktop pc for daily use. took me about 3 hours to get all the basic things up and running (dual boot with old windows partition, installation of basic apps, ...)
damn, it feels nice. last time I tried linux was several years ago, and I am stunned how good the experience is today!
Still not good enough to let my parents install it alone, but we're getting there! Awesome!
