If one country is despised today it will be hailed as a kindred soul in the next. If one cause has overwhelming favor today, tomorrow it becomes abhorrent.
In the halls and chambers of Democracy they are best seen as a barometer of public outlook and a moderating influence.

#US has started to remove military hardware from Gulf. The THAAD batteries have moved back to Korea and Japan. Hardware has flown out of #Israel. Some hardware, related to #USN is still in Gulf. Whether this is messaging for Tehran and Ayatollahs is not clear.
US is removing elements which will stunt its ability to resume hostilities. It does not seem like a hot war is going to be back.
