About the first point, no #Iran is not able to sell its oil. Apart from that which is already out of Strait of #Hormuz and Gulf of Oman.

About the 3rd, #Trump can arm twist the big oil executives to not allow prices to rise. He has done it previously. Even #Obama did it to #BP after the Gulf of Mexico spill caused by Deep water Horizon.

I hope that peace prevails but it does not look likely.

#DJT is being delusional when he claims that within 3 days the pipes in #Iran's petro-gas infra will blow. #Iran might just allow the pipes to leak crude oil into the Persian gulf, impacting the littoral states of Persian gulf. Leaving them to deal with the spill. In case of Gas there is a concept called as #Flaring.

Whoever is advising #Trump either has his head up their backside or #Trump is making up stuff on the fly.

On an average more than 100 ships transit Strait of #Hormuz. If #Iran is able to extract 2 million from 100 ships daily, via the #Ayatollah toll booth, that means 200 million a day. In year of 365 days, that is 73 billion. Over a decade it is 730 billion.
Houthis will do the same for #Bab-el-Mandeb.

Let us assume that negotiations are being held with an individual or group of individuals not linked to the Supreme leader #Mojtaba #Khameini. Let them not be sanctioned by #Mojtaba. But they still can take the agreed terms to him and to the president of #Iran for sign off. That should work and stop the #NeedlessWar that is #IranWar.

The components of #CBG/#CSG can only be at station for 3 months before withdrawing for R&R. A double dip deployment can be done but it strains the #CSG. The #AchillesHeel of #CSG.
