De Moebius: O Longo Amanhã e Outras Histórias
Um dos maiores autores da história dos quadrinhos e sua história mais influente retornam ao Brasil!
Moebius é um autor muito prolífico com várias coletâneas e personagens. Suas histórias curtas publicadas da Metal Hurlant (França) e Heavy Metal (EUA), revolucionaram o mercado dos quadrinhos. Existem várias coletâneas, separadas por personagens ou histórias mais longas, porém, suas histórias curtas, publicadas nessas revistas, integram uma coleção especial. Nos anos de 2010, a editora Nemo publicou essas histórias em 8 edições.
Anos antes, na década de 80, a primeira grande publicação deste mestre dos mestres foi “O Homem é Bom”, o equivalente da edição número três da editora Nemo.
Embora, outras edições menores ou piratas já tivessem saído no Brasil, foi esta publicação da LPM que divulgou o artista para o grande público e talvez por isto, esta seleção de histórias, ser tão amada pelos leitores brasileiros mais antigos, ao lado de Garagem Hermética.
Quase duas décadas depois, este material que já está fora de catálogo e se tornou uma raridade, finalmente volta pela editora Tábula uma edição que reúne o que foi publicado pela Nemo, em seus volumes dois e três, além de algumas histórias inéditas no Brasil.Clique aqui para apoiar o financiamento coletivo

Influência
De todas as HQs de Moebius, sem dúvida, a mais influente para o cinema foi Long Tomorrow (O Longo Amanhã), que dá nome ao título da coletânea.
Esta obra de ficção-científica, acabou influenciando drasticamente a estética cyberpunk e visual de filmes como Blade Runner, Alien e Star Wars: O Império Contra-Ataca. Sua mistura de noir com um futuro denso e tecnológico definiu o visual urbano distópico moderno.Em O Quinto-Elemento, por exemplo, há cenas idênticas aos do quadrinho, já que o próprio Moebius foi também responsável pelo design do filme.

Moebius ou Jean Giraud nascido em 8 de maio de 1938, faleceu em 10 de março de 2012, sendo considerado um dos maiores quadrinistas da história. Além de contribuir com vários filmes, oriundo de uma família muito pobre, mas desde cedo muito talentoso mesmo sem formação sua primeira publicação foi com “Frank et Jeremie” para a revista Far West, em 1956, publicada antes de seus 18 anos. Ainda na década de 50, fez quadrinhos para a Sitting Bull, Fripounet et Marisette, Âmes Vaillantes e Coeurs Vaillants. sua prematura carreira teve que ser interrompida pelo serviço militar, onde prestou na Argélia. Ao retornar, se tornou aprendiz de Joseph Gillain, o “Jijé” um dos principais quadrinistas europeus da época, com quem colaborou na revista Jerry Spring. Giraud foi por ele indicado para desenhar a série de faroeste Blueberry, que seria publicada pela revista Pilote.
O pseudônimo Moebius fui utilizado pela primeira vez em 1963 nas tiras da revista Hara Kiri, voltando a utilizar algumas décadas mais tarde, inicialmente para seus trabalhos de ficção científica ou aqueles mais experimentais.
Em 1974, formou os Humanoïdes Associés junto com Jean-Pierre Dionnet, Philippe Druillet e Bernard Farkas. A publicação de estréia foi a revista de fantasia e ficção científica Métal Hurlant, considerada uma das mais importantes do gênero, influenciando diversas outras iniciativas no mundo inteiro. Já em seu primeiro volume, a capa era de Moebius e Philippe Druillet, e havia as primeiras histórias de Arzach e Major Grubert.
Nos anos seguintes, sua produção em quadrinhos tornando cada vez maior irrelevante produzindo histórias que são referenciadas até hoje como Long Tomorrow ao lado de Dan O’Bannon, Garagem Hermética, entre outras.
Sua famosa parceria com o cineasta é escritor chileno Alejandro Jodorowsky começou em 1975. Junto produziram muitos trabalhos, sendo O Incal a obra mais famosa da dupla. Nos anos 1980, produziu a graphic novel Surfista Prateado: Parábola em colaboração com Stan Lee e no mesmo ano recebeu a Insígnia das Artes e das Letras, maior honraria francesa do gênero, outorgada pelo próprio presidente do país.
No cinema, suas obras tornaram-se referências para muitos produções, porém, foi responsável direto pelo design de filmes do final da década de 70 até os anos 2010, entre estas destacam-se: Space Jam, O Quinto Elemtno, O Segredo do Abismo, Willow, He-Man, Tron e AlienA HQ “Long Amanhã” (Long Tomorrow) é escrita por Dan O’Bannon que é norte-americano e famoso cineasta, entre suas obras mais famosas está Alien, o oitavo passageiro, o qual roteirizou. Nascido em 30 de setembro de 1946, faleceu em 16 de dezembro de 2009. Outras obras marcaram a carreira deste escritor, produtor e diretor de cinema: a volta dos mortos vivos, animação de Star Wars e Heavy Metal, o cult Dark Star, a a mega-produção Total Recall (O Vingador do Futuro) com Arnold Schwarzeneggar
O gigante Phillippe Druillet também participa da coletânea ao lado de Moebiu na HQ “Aproximação de Centaur”. Cofundador da Metal Hurllant. Nascido na França, em 1944, ainda continua produzindo suas belíssimas artes. Sua juventude, passou na Espanha, mas em 1952 retornou à França após o falecimento de seu pai. Iniciando sua carteira como fotógrafo, seu primeiro trabalho artístico publicado foi a série de Elric (de Michael Moorcock). Fã de Lovecraft produziu várias ilustrações e quadrinhos de ficção e horror, escrevendo livros, desenhando quadrinhos.ilustrou diversas obras, capas, inclusive de discos, sendo importante artista para indústria fonográfica. Também trabalhou para o cinema, arquitetura e é considerado um dos maiores artistas vivos das artes
