I'm having a fibro flare. Worse than usual because I spent too much time pushing through when more caffeine and a short rest let me recharge just a bit.
Eventually that stops working and this week is the week.

I squeezed in one last meeting with my brain at half efficiency yesterday morning. That was the final straw.
I've been losing words and losing my balance for days - the bruises are spectacular.

Now I can hardly get out of bed.
Luckily home help prepped salad and made scones.

I had to reload a spell checker to post anything readable.

I hate #Fibro and #CFS

An interesting morning.
I get nearly all my shopping delivered, this includes a weekly Ocado shop.
They had a large pack of strawberries reduced, then the reduced price down 50%.
So I bought it to share with my home help.
I also bought an extra pot of yogurt to make frozen strawberry yogurt.
The extra pot of yogurt had split and had leaked over a bag of fridge stuff, most of which could be washed without affecting the storage life.
Not so the strawberries. Once you wash them they need to be eaten within hours.
So the delivery man took them off my bill.
Then I salvaged 3/4 of them anyway.
But by the time I washed everything that was covered in yogurt I was sweaty and exhausted.
So I have free strawberries and a fibro flare looming.
I'd rather have paid ...

So today I am allowed to drive my powerchair fir the furst time since Feb.

But after having to get up about 4.40 yesterday morning to get ready for the ambulance, Benji decided we should be up at 5am today so I'm too tired.
I have an in person meeting tomorrow and am interviewing at 9.15 on Monday, so I'll probably not have enough energy to do much driving practise.
Fingers crossed I'll do some.

So far this week I've had an emergency eye clinic appointment, losing 4 hrs yesterday, and an emergency vet appointment this afternoon, probably another 2 hours.
That's most of my energy gone.

So a busy two days.
Coaching someone through chairing an independent exclusion appeal, then straight into the Iftar event.
Today an early start, and plenty of coffee before the media interview.
After which I was too hyped up to rest so I converted a doc into a presentation and emailed people to organise the trail run through.

Then I found I'd left a tissue in my black wash, so shook off what I could and put it back in the machine.
But it was fine as I didn't have anything in my calendar until tomorrow evening.

Until I suddenly remembered at 16.30 that I do have a meeting tomorrow and I need to leave at 06.30 to catch the train.
I should have been resting all day. I hope I can get enough coffee!

I still struggle to get any reasonable adjustments in too many places. And irritated that sometimes it's because I'm 'old' not because I'm disabled.

Crowdfarming allows you to select the grower. I ordered a 4kg box, enough to provide marmalade for a year.
The oranges are directly transported from him to me.
The box smelt delicious, the house filled with the smell of oranges before I even got the first pan boiling.
Because I have energy limiting conditions and can't stand for long, I just boil half of them then extract the pulp. The other half my home help peels (with a potato peeler) then shreds the peel and juices them for me.
I add a tiny bit of sugar to help preserve it, plus carb free sweetener. Then because it won't set well without loads of sugar I boil it down over several days (I bought an electric pan stirrer for this). The result is the strongest marmalade you'll ever taste.
It keeps in the fridge for at least a year.

In the past, I've ordered other stuff from crowdfarming but bought oranges from my usual supermarket. This year they stopped selling them.
