  2. @benjaminhollon @joel I’m checking it out on my workstation and I can tell you it’s very different from the superior Solarized Light :rms:

All jokes though, it’s a very nice theme. I’m liking the iTerm theme that they have listed on their GitHub page. The VSCode theme though I’m not a bit fan of. For JS, having the async and function keywords be orange/red respectively is annoying. Their contrasts and hues are too similar.

No hate though, us users need to stick together! :smart:

  9. Should libraries handle themselves?

I'm working in a library for internal use. It will be acting as a utility wrapper for a larger library and will be used in two main use cases and custom projects. This is my first time building a utility library from scratch and was thinking of using Webpack to handle the bundling, tree shaking, and minification, and using for transpiling.

Is this necessary or should this even be done?

How often do you use the direct toots feature of Mastodon? 🤔

Also worth noting that Mastodon does not have a feature. Direct toots are just unlisted toots that can only be seen by those people who’s names are mentioned in the toot.

  16. Is there a recommended pattern to follow when dealing with types in ?

This snippet is just from the quickstart guide. Since data maybe null when fetched from the Supabase bucket, TS complains since createObjectURL requires the parameter.

I know that I could guard the line with an "if" statement but that just seems unnecessary. Like there should be a more elegant solution, something like optional chaining. :javascript: :react:
