  1. @Yaku

"Scusi sa, ha ragione, si dice come dice lei, ho avuto un #LAPIS"

    😜

  2. Starlight Drops: lapis, citrine and pyrite drop earrings with deep presence. Inspired by long, northern summer nights and the midnight sun.

  3. We're working on a website re-design. Made some decisions today. Will be simplifying the design concept to cards representing each of the website sections and then a search that eliminates cards that do not match the search.

This allowed us to remove the bulky menus that the previous version of the website had and simplify the primary use of the website, which is to quickly find information.

    Will be using #PicoCSS, #Lapis #Lua and #HTMX

  4. Having some fun with the #nginx web server. The reverse proxy feature is delightful.

Rewrote my website with Lua and #lapis web framework, which is built with #OpenResty (which in turn uses nginx).

I still am converting my old posts from the previous format to my new one, so not a whole lot of posts are there. Will be writing other features for tags and RSS in the near future, too.

  5. On the recording of the stream, did you talk a bit about the similarities between Lua and Scheme? I may go back and watch that.

I saw that you had a video on Fennel but haven't watched yet. I've done a few little things with it before, even made a video about it a few years back.

So far, I am really impressed with Lapis and plan to use it for quite a few projects.

  6. @kodumbeats OMG...I just had a dumb idea. I tried installing Lapis globally and behold, it worked!

I'm guessing that wasn't reading from the local Lapis install and required it to be global.

I'll open a question on the GitHub for this. It seems like getting started with is quite a headache of a lot of people, and the documentation could be improved quite a bit.

Thanks so much for your help, sorry for blasting you with so many questions!

  7. @fosskers did you have any issues with dependencies when initially starting up the lapis server? I’ve been trying to start a new project and I keep getting errors like “lpeg” is not defined.

  8. Anyone have luck using recently? I've always had an inkling to play around with and I would like to use it for . I just can't get it to work.

Every time I try and start up a fresh project using the docs, I get a dep error. None of the Github issues are helpful, most say it's an issue with . Probably true, but the maintainer doesn't bother to provide a helpful solution.
