It's not the most aesthetically pleasing setup in the back but I never see it 99% of the time and it keeps the cables off the floor which is most important to me. When I have a weekend to kill, I want to take it all apart and do it over again. Making the changes I did today alone took about 3 hours.

Cleared space on my desk for my Dell PII tower. I had to adjust the wiring behind my desk. My desk has a cable organizing panel on the back with slots for Velcro cable ties and a ledge to hold a 3 foot long power strip. These help manage a 27" 4K monitor, a 4 way hdmi switch, an hdmi to optical audio splitter, two usb hubs, three power strips, a Switch, two MacBooks, an AppleTV, a MIDI controller, speakers, a lamp, and mouse + keyboard. #organization #cableManagement #tech #desk #cables

Do you use anything specific for #cablemanagement? I discovered #cablebug(s) years ago and find them quite easy and convenient to use. Also in the pictures: nylon #cablehose(s) that I use throughout the studio.
Somehow #cables are rarely perfectly organized (even when custom made) or laid out, but I keep trying anyway. 🫣😝 #compulsion -
Really happy with my cable management on the living room setup. Everyone always shares their “find a cable” desk photos. But entertainment center cable management is hard mode.

Anyone know of any resources on how to set up a proper #HomeOffice? I always struggle with #interiordecorating and #organizing my desk setup. Things like #cablemanagement never seem to stay clean. My space doesn’t get dirty per say, it just never looks “focused”.

My internet connect dropped to ~100Mbps last Friday. Tried restarting everything, checked all the settings, hit up ISP support, swapped network cables, nothing.
Turns out I managed to damage the keystone jack on the patch panel just enough to drop it into 'Fast Ethernet' mode with a top speed of 100Mbps.
