@matt Months later, I updated this canister to have three latches instead of two. It makes a much more secure latch, because there's less room for the plastic to flex between latches.

I decided to make this the first 3D printable design of mine that I've shared anywhere. I've put the .3mf model file on Printables, along with the FreeCAD .fcstd file to make it easier for people to adjust the dimensions to fit their own power banks and tripods.

It could be handy for any power hungry tripod mounted device, not just smart telescopes.

For some reason #Printables prevents me from providing people with the original Blender project file in any way possible (even though .blend is specifically allowed), even when zipped… welp, not my fault. 🤷‍♀️

If someone can tell me why Printables got angry at me I can add it later on.

Quite a while since I actually made a full 3D print design I could actually publish. It's a wall mount for one of these 3in1 HDMI splitter designs, a lot of throwaway brands sell them (probably an ODM design, it does work reliably though).

Sending it to my printer in a few minutes, let's see if I measured correctly. If it works I'm uploading it to #Printables later.

313 Team has claimed responsibility for taking down Printables with a DDoS attack.
Accessing Printables' website shows a "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable" error.

I reached out to Printables' parent company Prusa Research a.s. for comment, and am awaiting a response.
