  1. @Wuzzy intrigued enough and tried it out, but it still has a long way to go before it's actually useful. But, but, thanks for the tip. Always on a lookout for #m16n projects, esp LLM I can play with offline

  2. An example for a Free Cultural Work would be Nose Ears, the #webcomic I've been posting for >2 years. 🤓 It has been derived from another webcomic that is also a free cultural work. Nose Ears has become my biggest "side project" and is only possible because of Free Cultural Works.

(btw: getting close to no. 800!)

Here in Russia I default to #YandexMaps, but it's entirely for proprietary reasons. I mean, look at just how closed off a lot of information here is! Transportation schedules are not an easy thing to come by, for some reason. Yandex's maps help me make routes I never thought of with data in their possession and even estimate the travel time.

I could only wish there was a way to transfer all this experience to #OSM #OpenStreetMap, but I see how quickly it would inflate the scope of project...

  4. @Wuzzy I see what you did there... on #mtPlace! 😉

I just went over your #Minetest game called Glitch. I'm on level with trampolines and I think half of crystals in that area plus from previous rooms are collected (268 total). Other half is kinda hardcore - must require a bit of backtracking, when I get a new ability, most likely.

The frustration I have with Glitch reminds me a lot of the days I played #VVVVVV, except it's now 3D. 😂

Also, I only just discovered that I can change perspective by pressing C. It allows me to see more surroundings, but at the same time the character blocks sight in center - so, gotta switch it depending on situation.

  5. I make or maintain for :minetest: :

    🌳 Repixture <content.minetest.net/packages/>
    ⬜ Glitch <content.minetest.net/packages/>
    🌋 Hades Revisited <forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.p>
    and more.

🦔 Outside of Minetest, I’ve helped to bring version 1.0.0 <hedgewars.org> out.

🔣 I keep maintaining of various free softwares.

  6. @Wuzzy Governments are now pushing #nonfreesoftware. This is more of a tyranny than what we see in the private sector b/c you cannot boycott the government. Tax finances gov agencies who then impose nonfree s/w & you are excluded from services you’re entitled to b/c of your lifestyle choice. We need to drive the point that those govs are discriminating against fossarian people.

  7. @Wuzzy I must say when I tried to visit your post in a GUI browser, Fosstodon tried to force me to run #nonfreesoftware by pushing a nonfree JavaScript CAPTCHA. I assume you’re unaware of that because it’s a glaring #hypocrisy on the part of the #Fosstodon admin. Anyway, I appreciate the feedback. Though I’m struggling to envision improvements on the essay from that feedback.

Not to add to the scope creep, but if it'll help your idea, maybe not all bad: there is such thing as stencils in #OpenBlocks (#Minecraft mod), and you can do a variety of granular graphics with those, combining with colors.
