RE: https://techhub.social/@vintprox/112393461619782109
One schizo thread for a riddle that didn't even make it into the final game. I feel like it's a ploy #HerInteractive made for making their trailer look "futuristic". Well, as a developer myself, I'll say that this poor attempt at mockery won't go unseen.
What you see here is some random snippet of FTP software written in Node.js. Whether it was stolen or not does not concern me (and believe me, I tried to find any matches with existing open source code on the Internet, to no avail). What concerns me is that they just had to obfuscate it - there is no reason for this whatsoever. No hidden clue in this, only a big ball of nothing.

Last week I was making an overview of the monitor that appears in #NancyDrew #MysteryOfTheSevenKeys trailer. :blobfoxdetective: It's the same one that I added to the meme: https://techhub.social/@vintprox/112365185575447753
I'm telling you: it must have some sort of cypher... or it's a dud and I'm looking like #PepeSilvia. No matter, that was interesting to poke around such funny ECMAScript code and DISMANTLE it. :linus:
Leaving start and end frame with a grid overlay for further reference. Let the decyphering games begin.

@bogo Cool! :BlobhajReach:
Speaking of #Prague, there is an upcoming release of the game Nancy Drew: Mystery of the Seven Keys on May 7. Players can walk in Prague's key places and enjoy point-and-click adventure in the 3D environment. Can't vouch for any accuracy yet, but that's #HerInteractive for you - they love details and stuff! They worked long on it, so I expect a lot of goodies there.

Also, look up #NancyDrew and #MysteryOfTheSevenKeys for more information (and memes). :0460:

🔴 📐 Today on the #VectorArtStream (Pilot) - Drawing in #Inkscape:
Chill hour drawing #Bootc icon, my mascot Bootseef - now more compatible with downscaled medium unlike the detailed version.
If you like more vector stuff, #CommunityDesignTeam, @fedora.design and @fedora projects, come check my stream next time! I enjoy explaining some intricacies, in reasonable amounts. 😅

Just so we're clear: I include #Matrix direct messaging link in format of https://matrix.to/#/@vintprox:envs.net 👌...which #YouTube has no trouble with. The reason I even publish DM link instead of my #MatrixSpace, though, is because YouTube has a meltdown from links containing a second # (number sign, replace @ with it to get into my space).
From technical POV, it's one correct #RegularExpression away for YouTube, as many modern social media and video platforms can handle it and do use normal #regex. But, on the other hand, #MatrixTo service just shouldn't be employing such flawed #URL pattern or provide an alternative one, even if #URI standard allows the former to exist.
So, yeah, there is that - it is hard to gather video viewers in such a place. It's a single thing that I miss from Discord invite links. Matrix ones don't need a vanity and it's sweet - one solution is put it through #URLShortner, but then the entire point is lost.

Thank you, my dear 4 viewers on #TILvids, for coming today to #VectorArtStream. I had a nice space casually explaining what I work with and it didn't feel as intense as it did in lieu of any viewers at all. Letting your tongue out is kinda refreshing - both mother tongue and English! 🤪
Not only did I have time for #Inkscape, there was some for #Penpot as well. These are all nice #FreeSoftware packages that work together well. There is an important distinction between graphics production and layout, and I hope I helped you figure it out.
My channel #VintproxEdutainment offers educational value, all the while giving it a sense of lighthearted entertainment. It can be anything: my struggles, joy, your audio experience, wisdoms... For stream schedule and other details, read https://techhub.social/@vintprox/112065524799922798 🧵
Here comes a Viewer Character that I was doing on stream today. There is more work on it, but let it shine your rest of the day and come tomorrow for more!
-
📐 Welcome to #VectorArtStream at 10:00 AM UTC!
Metastream is underway: today, we'll dive deep into creating a Viewer Character for use in my further streams. In summary, idea is very similar to #StreamAvatars - little creatures spawn and roam around on the bottom of the screen, reminding of the viewers in chat.
But I have some nuances which I wish to cover with #GodotEngine. 👾 It's smooth animations, and physics, and #Peertube #LiveChat plugin support, and partial viewer authorization... Woah! More of that in the separate stream, but right now let's concentrate on the design part in #Inkscape.
📌 Latest work: https://techhub.social/@vintprox/112048194968362218
👋 Announcement and stream schedule can be found in the post above.

I do the VECTOR ART STREAM from Sunday to Thursday, inclusive, around 10:00 AM UTC! In general, I draw things in #Inkscape.
🔴 Come watch on #TILvids:
https://tilvids.com/w/b3RAtp6XkVRpo28VEkqMGT📐 Entertain yourself to some chat, learn about making mascots, intricacies of design and vector graphics. 🎶 In the background, you can hear soothing music licensed under public domain or CC licenses with derivative clauses, to which I'll gladly provide sources.
Bilingual streaming. Most of the time, it's English - but let me know if you're into Russian: I'll keep communications in both languages.

RE: https://techhub.social/@vintprox/116046240847179310
Interesting part is that we both were microblogging on #devRant before. Unfortunately, that platform struggles to keep up with technology and moderation.
Some of us have branched to a group chat. Fast forward 5 years and now we're moving ships. Still feels like home with these NICE people. :ablobmeltsoblove: Combine it with microblogging on Mastodon/whatever and you just get the best. It is OK to vent, it is OK to rant. Surround yourself with those little pats on the head.
A quick reminder to support your fellow #Fediverse instance by the word of mouth and other means (you know, ching-ching). It goes a long way!

I'm happy that my #devRant friends are moving from Shitcord to something better. Wind to their sails! :ablobcathyper:
Abandoned the place mostly because of the ads in the app. Sure, I needed a break from the group chats as well, but I feel like joining this migration with them and resume communicating.

Well, do I have just a place for exploding your #developer irritation on! https://devrant.com is that corner of the Internet where one can read fun stories and relate to the pure rage.
To negate confirmation bias, few #devRant users will actually provide their POV and valuable lessons for handling these #IT situations. :fistbump:
Some of us gathered on #Discord: https://devrant.com/collabs/3221539 💬

Get overlanged!
Having some fun with the video for #ObjectionOverruledFunk. To prevent changing background way too much, I decided to make characters get closer - and there is just the way to make it faithful to the videogame, by placing them on the same location backdrop. As a result, both Edgeworth and his opponents can have richer interactions with each other without warping locations a lot. Luckily, motion sickness now can be avoided.

@vintprox @gpunktschmitz But what if you are developing a #powershell module or powershell code for #AzureFunctions or #AzureAutomation? Powershell is not only a command-line tool 😉
