Dein Firefox unter Windows geht nicht mehr?
Du denkst, dass Du einen neuen Compi brauchst, weil Win 11 nicht geht?Mit Linux kann der Compi noch Jahre laufen.
Ich habe in den letuten Wochen mit MX 25 Linux totgesagte Computer wieder zum Laufen gebracht.
Also nicht Compi entsorgen, sondern Linux installieren.

Ich habe ein aktuelle Thinkpad X13 mit Fingerabdruckleser und würde den unter Linux Mint gerne auch zum Anmelden nutzen.
Leider bietet mit den Anmeldedialog das nicht an, obwohl ich später - nach dem Login - alle Authentifizierungen mit dem Fingerabdruck durchführen kann.
Was muss ich ändern?

Mit den Anweisungen der KI komme ich bis zum Moment, wo die Installation vom Win11 Iso-Image booten soll und es nicht tut.

@mkwadee I could never manage to get any external access stuff working with reverse proxies and certificates and authentication (this was pre LLM-days), so I just installed Tailscale. Wow was that easy!
My homelab services are for me and my family anyway, so I just put Tailscale on their devices and added them to the same Tailnet. Done. I can even host my own control server with Headscale and not touch any Tailscale servers.
