Rotten Tomatoes for me has been the best way to quickly judge whether its worth my time to watch any given film or show. But it feels inevitable that the S/N value of RT's algorithmic score will eventually go to shit.
It would be nice if their site provides the right kind of data affordances and/or API so that the general public can apply their own desired custom overlay filter. Something to indicate whether we trust only a subset of their up-vs-down critics, or actively distrust certain others.
