As we watch Trump's testimony in NY, I'm shocked once again by how anyone can support this man.
We've never had a successful national politician who is all-in on breaking every rule, norm, and law to get his way. He's essentially an anarchist.
And if that's not enough, he is clearly emotionally and intellectually immature.
I refuse to believe there is any way such a man can fairly win a national election in America.

I don't know what the reasoning was for the 1965 law (Public Law 89-186) requiring Secret Service protection for former Presidents and their spouses. But I say it should be reexamined.
A repeal of that 1965 law seems in order. Whether former Presidents retire to the comfort of their porches or land up in jail, we should make it clear that they are private citizens after leaving office.

This man Trump and his minions must be dealt with. They must be swept aside. Law and order must be respected. And many weak points in our federal law and Constitution must be repaired.
The moment calls for courage, integrity, and morality. We're going to find who has it and who does not.

Nicole Wallace's show on MSNBC today was a soothing cream for my soul.
It is wonderfully therapeutic to hear the thoughts, worries, and conclusions I have been screaming at my TV screen for a couple of years, repeated and confirmed by intelligent insiders of journalism and government.
America is still in critical condition, but I know I'm not crazy. And I have hope that all of us who see these issues clearly may yet see justice done.

I continue to feel Garland is more afraid of the appearance of acting politically than doing the right thing for the country.
Every time he utters the words, "no one is above the law", I just want to throw up.
By this caution to proceed against Trump's OBVIOUS crimes, the AG exhibits the very behavior he says he wants to avoid -- appearing political.

If a sitting President cannot be criminally prosecuted, this clearly contradicts the principle EVERYONE says they hold dear:
"No one is above the law".
Therefore, that ill-advised "DOJ policy" about a sitting President most surely needs to be scrapped.
Criminals need to be punished, whoever the f&^# they are. Politics be damned.

I disagree. The most important thing is to (re)establish justice. Avoiding the appearance of political interference is impossible. The GOP led MAGAmorons are already screaming political influence. These people have made EVERYTHING political.What is needed now are courageous leaders who will just do the right thing.
And the clock is ticking toward a general election VERY soon. Everything will be harder then.

I see an inescapable conclusion that many in America are afraid to draw.
President Biden is unqualified for reelection due to his failure to require his DOJ to hold the treasonous criminal Trump accountable for his crimes against our government and our very way of life.
I know Biden has done many fine things But this is a deal breaker. We've lost the rule of law and our very Democracy if Trump is not punished. After 2+ years there is no excuse.
