I've been on some form of "the internets" since 1992 and I swear to glob everything has just got a solid level meaner and weirder in the last 1-3 months.
I know we all know about Dead Internet and bots and ragebait but it's really scary and demoralizing. Even the safe-ish spaces are corrupted.
The answer is to touch more grass and curate my experience harder, but I'm still going to be sad about it. And worried about folks who aren't doing those things.

Random #Jinji Fact: I regularly play old arcade and pinball games; and nowadays when I get a highscore and have to enter my name, if it's one of those where you only get three letters to enter I always put "GNG". Not only is it short for "Gengar", but if you pronounce each letter it sounds similar to "Jinji" ;)
