I bet the mayor has known that for a long time, that’s why the busway efforts were accelerated.
It didn’t make sense at first to invest so much in a bus lane for such a short gap but now it will be there for many years.

The East Don Trail project website has been updated which states completion of the project is now tentatively scheduled for early July! She's a tenant activist who will be running for Toronto City Council for York South-Weston. She has run twice before, coming very close last time (2022) to beating the incumbent Frances Nunziata.
Next Toronto City Council election will be in October of this year. I'm certainly going to be canvassing for her!
