Why do Conservatives pretend that they're "tough on crime" and want tougher sentences but don't hire enough judges so possible violent criminals are released without a hearing and potentially innocent accused don't get a hearing.

For 30 or 40 generations.
If tomorrow, we redoubled our efforts to mitigate, to reverse Anthropogenic Global Climate Extinction, and again the day after, and the day after, and.... Their children might be the first generation to see some slight improvement.
It took us 150-200 years to really fuck up this planet spewing fossil fuel crap into the atmosphere with zero regard. It's going to take a lot longer to unfuck it, if we even bother trying.

Yeah, ok, so sure, I am half way out to door to move to #Hawaii but even still Happy #CanadaDay2026 eh!
I will remain invested in my homeland doing good things, I will be watching from afar. I will continue to vote in the elections I'm allowed to vote in.
It might be a decade or two, if I live that long, but at this point, I do intend to come back some day, especially if things improve, or even return to the much better levels they were at up until recently.
