Letzte Woche war es schwer.
Ich habe tatsächlich mit dem Gedanken gespielt, von Linux wieder zurück zu Windows zu wechseln.
Es gibt einige frustrierend nicht gut funktionierende Arbeitsabläufe.
Da bin ich von Affinity echt verwöhnt.
Meine größte Hürde ist gerade Inkscape. Ja, es ist kein Affinity! Aber dennoch muß ich meine Arbeit erledigen und das klappt nur begrenzt. Wir leben u.a. als Agentur davon...
Irgendwie brauche ich Motivation :( -
Heute war alles ziemlich ergiebig. Zum Beispiel hat #Kadenlive bei Vignetten echte Leistungseinbußen.
Also habe ich einen Weg gesucht um das zu umschiffen.
#Krita, #Inkscapa und #Gimp waren die Kandidaten für einen Lösungsweg.
Letztlich hat Gimp für mich den besten Weg ergeben.
Schade, dass Kdenlive nur eine und nicht mehrere Einstellungsspuren pro Sequenz zur Verfügung stellt. Aber nun baue ich sie mir halt selbst :) -

Mal ein kleiner Zwischenstand, was unseren Wechsel #WindowszuLinux #WindowsToLinux betrifft.
Als Werbeagentur etc. ist unser Einsatzgebiet sehr vielfältig. #Grafikdesign, #Videoschnitt, #3D Anwendungen, 3D-Konstruktion und 3D-Druck, #Musikproduktion und noch einiges mehr.
Es erfordert wirkliches "ich will das", ansonsten wird der Wechsel nicht klappen.
Wir machen sehr große Fortschritte auf allen Ebenen.Auch ein eigener #PeerTube Kanal und #Mastodon Instanz... yeah :)

Echte Tipps! -
Letzte Woche hatte mich das #Kdenlive #Inkscape #FreeCAD Universum komplett verschluckt.
Ich habe viel gelernt. Insbesonders die Rückbesinnung auf das Wesentliche.
Allerdings gibt es auch Dinge, die ich mir komplett abschminken kann.
Erkenntnis:
Das große Einmaleins baut auf dem kleinen Einmaleins auf und erweitert sich durch cleveres Weiterdenken.
Und:
Man muss den Inhalt interessant gestalten, dann wird die Verpackung unwichtiger oder sogar überflüssig. -
Leider bekomme ich Kdenlive nicht vernünftig zum laufen und daher muss ich dafür erst mal wieder zu WIndows mit DaVinci Resolve zurück.
Passt mir gar nicht. Aber diese intensiven frustrierenden Testläufe mit Kdenlive, rauben mir im Moment einfach zu viel Zeit.
Außerdem scheinen bei vielen kein tieferes Wissen zu dem Programm vorhanden zu sein und somit erhalte ich keine Unterstützung. Außer natürlich die typischen "Sprüche"... -
Mit Kdenlive habe ich noch keine eindeutigen Ergebnisse erzielt :(
Direkt vom Server, mit und ohne Proxy oder lokal mit und ohne Proxy.
Alles führt zur gleichen Problematik, wenn ich z.B. eine Vignettierung anwende. LUTs funktionieren gut, aber Kdenlive übernimmt von der .cube Datei nicht die Vignette.
Auch andere kleine Bildkorrekturen führen zum Geruckel. Und mit einer 360p Auflösung kann ich nicht arbeiten.Ich gebe aber noch nicht auf :)

Ich finde keine Lösung, um unter Linux eine LUT Datei als .cube erstellen zu können.
Natürlich habe ich die Websuche angeschmissen und auch die KI bemüht - das eine ist schlimmer als das Andere. Bisher einige Stunden in der Recherche versenkt.Hat jemand eine Lösung?

Nachdem wir uns eine #Mastodon Instanz gegönnt haben, geht es nun mit einer PeerTube Instanz weiter.
Alles irgendwie aufregend und toll... aber auch echt viel Input auf einmal. Da kommt natürlich auch noch unser Wechsel #WindowsToLinux mit hinzu.
Das ist echt anstrengend...
Vielleicht schaffen wir das bis zum Ende des Jahres.
Wir haben uns vorgenommen, dass demnächst in unserem Blog zu dokumentieren. Vielleicht hilft das den einen und anderen - und wenn es "nur" Mut gibt :) -

Da bleibt dann nichts anderes, als jede einzelne Datei vom Affinity Designer aus als svg zu speichern.
Das nervige ist nicht das extra nochmal speichern, sondern der permanente Wechsel zwischen Linux und Windows.Na ja... Arschbacken zusammen und durch :)

I’m 37 and have been using Linux for a year now after wasting the rest on Windows. I started reflecting on older Windows versions and how it used to be and realized I hate it. Making Linux Installs Easier for Windows Users
Linux is easier than ever, but BIOS access and bootable USB creation remain major hurdles. Many new users struggle with these steps despite Linux itself being simple to use.
A possible solution? A Windows-based installer (.exe) that:
Creates a bootable USB automatically
Adjusts boot order for installation
Such a tool could remove major barriers and make Linux adoption even smoother.

Thinking of moving from #WindowsToLinux?
Below is advice I needed to find by using search engines so I could install #FreeFileSyc, a file sychronisation program with a (for me) very user friendly #GUI graphical user interface.
If you're just surfin' the web, word processing, spreadsheetin', using "web-based apps", etc, then very possibly you'll not ever need to work with tar.gz files.
I've needed to multiple times. 🥊
Like they say in Girl Guides, "Be prepared."

In January 2020 Microsoft will drop supporting Windows 7. This can be a chance to bring people to Linux!
I mean many people still use Windows 7 and did not upgrade and likely don't want to upgrade to Windows 8 or 10…Due to the lack of a real cross-distro discussion platform I've written up some ideas here, now:
