Ich bin dabei "Piero" (Videoconverter für Davinci Resolve auf Linux) hübscher zu machen. Bisher war da ne lange Dropdown, aber würde da lieber ein ein "Nimm den, dann gehts!" haben.
Welches AUDIO-Format macht denn am meisten Sinn? Ich bin ja nur ein dusseliger Programmierer und schneide da ggf. mal ein paar Urlaubsvideos mit.
Hat wer mehr Videoschnitt-Expertise?
(Im Piero- Screenshot gibts die Audioformate die Resolve prinzipiell versteht)

Das kam für mich völlig unerwartet: Blackmagic Design hat seinem Profi-Videoeditor eine Fotobearbeitung spendiert – samt einer Reihe von KI-Funktionen für die Retusche. Unter #Linux war sowas bisher Mangelware, mit #DaVinciResolve kann man jetzt schnell Elemente entfernen, Falten glätten, Farbe ins Gesicht bringen, verjüngen oder altern lassen und einiges mehr. Besonders praktisch: die vielen Effekte und #Colorgrading-Tools von DaVinci stehen auch für Fotos bereit. #foto

Also lerne ich einiges nochmal neu.
Leider gibt's nicht so viele Optionen unter #Linux, was #Video angeht.
Und nein, weder Kdenlive noch Blender spielen meine Footage überhaupt richtig ab auf meinem Rechner, ich hab das Thema hier ja bereits vor längerem mal totgeschlagen.

Après une tentative d'installation de #daVinciResolve #dvr (je bosse sous #linuxmint 22.3) mon PC ne boot plus. Après plus d'une heure d'essais multiples pour réparer, je réinstalle une version neuve (heureusement j'avais une partition /home)
Je crois qu'il me faudrait une 2ème installe de linux pour tester les grosses applis, avant de défoncer mon OS principal.

#Blackmagic has released their #DavinciResolve 21 #NLE… new feature includes an #AI face reshaper, and a #voice cloning AI that can imitate any original voice with just 10 minutes of audio training data.
So, deep fakes within minutes? Easy with #Resolve.
Don't know what to think of this. It's one of two professional NLEs for #Linux… and the other one, #Lightworks, is in a terrible state currently, hopefully it will survive.

This little bit of news is going to be a huge moment in digital photography, and another blow to Adobe.
I've long wished for Black Magic to take their video editing software (Davinci Resolve) and develop a photo editor that applies the same techniques. From version 21, that's exactly what they have done. The implementation is a little weird and there's a lot of new feature that I still need to test out, but if you already know how to edit with Resolve then you can now create projects to edit RAW files and export out JPEGS... or just haul into your video projects.
This move is to Lightroom what Affinity was to their creative suite. It's a big deal. NO SUBSCRIPTION pricing to edit your RAW photos.
Davinci is powerful and complex to learn. I think this will make it unwieldy for MOST photographers. But for some of us it present another path forward to exit LR and C1 pricing. That's good for the entire market.

@keefmarshall For editing, grading, compositing, mastering I use #DaVinciResolve (before that it was Avid MC). 2D/3D animations and VFX are done in my beloved #Blender. GFX elements I do with #GIMP. The visuals of my next project will be done completely on Linux (Fedora/Cinnamon). The only thing I can´t do there is the music itself. #Reaper works great on Linux, but my #NativeInstruments / #Arturia plug-ins can´t be activated, even though they would work with #Yabridge.
