Depuis que j’ai migré sur #Infomaniak, je me retrouve avec mes boites mails habituelles en IMAP. L’import a l’air de s’être pas trop mal passé, mais je ne suis pas fan de la gestion de ce protocole par #thunderbird.
J’ai figé les boites qui étaient en POP3 et je continue seulement en #webmail depuis la transition, ce qui implique aussi des limitations.Là, je suis en train de me demander si #BetterBird ne serait pas mieux.
Y a des retours d’expérience ?

Hi everyone. Question regarding Betterbird on the Mac. I’m trying to select text in an email using regular VoiceOver commands, but I can’t tell if it’s actually selecting anything because VoiceOver stays completely silent. Not sure if I’m missing something or if it’s just not giving feedback.
Finding attachments in an email is also tricky.
Also, is there a way to close an entire email thread at once? Right now Command-W only closes one email at a time.
One more thing: searching for emails with VoiceOver feels tricky too, especially navigating and finding the actual email in the search results.
Any tips from other VoiceOver users would be greatly appreciated.

So I discovered this fork of the Thunderbird email client called Betterbird. I like it thus far and I am going in that direction. I hate how Thunderbird is offering a Pro version to start monetizing it. I'm making the switch. Betterbird has much fewer glitches

I keep my contacts in a #CardDAV address book on my own #Baikal #DAV server, and my Betterbird email app has no problem accessing this.What it can't do is merge 2 contacts!
It's 2026, we almost have flying cars, how is merging contacts not possible?

Alright #Betterbird and #Zoho users. Running into an issue where when I send an email from BetterBird, it seems to be sending twice. When I look at the email threads on the Zoho app on iOS, it shows two sent messages at the same time instead of one.
What settings should I look into to find out what’s doing this?
