So. yep. that explains why we don't use it.

are there #emailservice providers that let you setup for aggregate / inbox, several accounts like that?

#Spark email isnt free. #mailspring breaks for me, as well as #bluemail
never sending mail, waiting 15 minutes for a compose window to be drawn, composed from the wrong account, etc.

what is everyone using for an #EmailClient these days? The #gmail interface seems to be languishing a bit and I'm thinking an actual client application might be nice.

Couple options I'm seeing are #postbox, #mailbird, #mailspring, #sparkmail and #thunderbird.

I've used thunderbird on and off over the last 15-20 years.

I prefer #Open Source (!=free) options but if a closed, commercial app soars about all others, I'm not philosophically entrenched.

PSA: #MAILSPRING / #NYLASMAIL HAS *NOT* GONE OPEN SOURCE

Beware the #openwashing claims of this company about removing the need for a MailspringID and #opensourcing #MailSync. These make it sound like this #email project has gone #FOSS / #opensource, getting many to pay for a subscription for #privacy focused #email. The server though is (and is planned to remain) closed, #proprietary, #centralized and owned by a US corporation (Foundry 376 LLC).
