Hey guys. Curious what methods on Windows y’all are using for this. Let’s say I have a huge library of sound effects on a drive… what are y’all using to sort through everything easily, search by keywords, preview sounds quickly, and still do all the normal copy/paste and file management stuff?

I know about REAPER’s Media Explorer, but I honestly haven’t used it in a long time. Just wondering what else is out there these days, especially anything accessible and fast to navigate.

Thunderbird on Linux with Orca was the most efficient way I ever found to process email. The Mail application on MacOS with VoiceOver is just as efficient.

I have both #Safari and #Vivaldi on my mobiles, but my #default #browser is Safari.

I don't need a #screenreader all the time, so I don't run #VoiceOver.

Safari will #readaloud to me if I choose to listen, so opening a link from wherever is how I use Safari.

When I know where I'm going, I mostly use Vivaldi. And if I think I'll want to remember a #website or #access it on my #computer, I'll paste the link into Vivaldi because they're synced.

Last week, a huge project I've been working on for over 3 years rolled out almost flawlessly! To treat myself, I went out and bought myself a MacBook Neo. I'm still figuring out how to navigate around with VoiceOver, for example, I haven't been able to download anything from the App Store yet, but I'm optimistic it's going to be a useful tool. I'm not sure when, if ever, it'll replace my Windows laptop though.

Good news for blind and low vision users. The latest Facebook update appears to have fixed the back button issue. Navigation is feeling much smoother and more reliable again with VoiceOver.

Really glad to see this improvement. Accessibility fixes like this make a big difference in everyday use.

If you were struggling with the back button before, it might be worth updating and trying again.

I started using my IPad again, it feels pretty great. Only thing is, I sometimes have to convince my IPad that I’m inside of an edit box and I’m not trying to do commands. For example, if I am typing something and I hit the letter A for example, it thinks I’m trying to turn on Type to Siri when I am not trying to do that in the slightest.
