Anyone using Kontakt 8 on a Mac with VoiceOver?
I'm trying to use VOCR to access the File menu so I can run Batch Re-save on my libraries, but I'm stuck. Nothing happens when I activate the File menu button. VOCR never sees the drop-down menu—it only detects my libraries and presets.
Has anyone figured out a way to access the File menu with VoiceOver, or found another accessible method for running Batch Re-save? I'm running Kontakt in standalone.

Has anyone run into this?
The built-in macOS text-to-speech engine isn't respecting the speech rate I've set. No matter what I choose, it keeps speaking at what seems like the default speed instead of my preferred rate.
Has anyone found a fix or workaround for this? Thanks!

We have a new audio-based game! @ChanceyFleet came up with an #Accessible version of air hockey for the web using the touch gesture API for mobile browsers, and I just ported it over to #iOS to take advantage of the Direct Touch feature of #VoiceOver. Introducing Audio Showdown, named after the Showdown game played by #Blind folks around the world. This is a link to our public beta which you can access through TestFlight, and we are ready to get more feedback after building it up to this current state!

Anyone else running into this in Mona on iPhone?

Whenever I try to reply to a post, the keyboard randomly disappears. The same thing happens while dictating a reply—it’ll just stop out of nowhere. Braille Screen Input is affected too, making it really frustrating to type. I believe I’ve also seen it happen when creating new posts.

I’m using VoiceOver, so this makes replying and posting pretty unreliable. Curious if anyone else is seeing this or if there’s a workaround.

I'm trying to figure out how to copy the second line, `sudo chown $(id -nu):$(id -ng) /etc/nix-darwin`. How do I do this? I somehow managed to copy the first line, but I can't seem to only select the second line

I only have #Orca to test screen reader functionality but my assumption is that if it works on Orca it should also work on more rubust software like #NVDA or #VoiceOver

If any regular user of screen readers around is available to give it a try and report back it would be much appreciated, specially compared to other tagging libraries.

@quillforall I’m willing to try to assist. How can I help? I will say that on my #M2MacbookAir, running the 2nd #Beta of #MacOSGoldenGate, every time I attempt to launch the app, I end up in a loop where #Voiceover says, “Quill is not responding” & I must force quit the app. I try again & the cycle starts all over. Is it just me or are others seeing this as well with 0.80 beta 1?

Can anyone tell me what prompts finder on MacOS to switch my view? I tend to use list view, but when I go to certain places like /library, it switches to column view which I find odd and slightly irritating.
