Open pages from active tab’s history in a new tab.
When you right-click on the History back/forward button on the Address Bar, you get a list of pages you’ve visited in that tab. Clicking on an item on the list will take you to the chosen page. But what if you want to stay on the current page and open the page you’ve already visited? There’s a little trick in Vivaldi that allows you to open the page in a new tab.
To open visited pages in a new tab:
- Right-click on the back/forward button on the Address Bar.
Alternatively, click and hold down the mouse button until the menu opens. - Hold down the Shift / ⇧ or Ctrl / ⌘ key to open the page in a new foreground or background tab, respectively.
- Click on the page you want to open.
- Right-click on the back/forward button on the Address Bar.

『近日中に、Appleや他のブラウザ開発者と共にブリュッセルでEUの規制当局と会合を開き、iOSとiPadOS上で私たちが推奨するエンジンをより公平な方法で提供できるよう尽力する予定』（Google 翻訳）とのこと。
うまく行けば近い将来 EU 域内では Chromium を使った iOS・iPadOS ブラウザが利用できるようになるかもだけど。おそらく Apple は EU のみに限定してくるんじゃないかと。
ただ開発する側から考えると EU 向けとそれ以外で開発を分けないといけないので。そんな面倒をさせず。「全世界でブラウザエンジン選べるようにしてよ、Apple さん！」って思う。
もし Apple がそうしたら、日本でも iOS・iPadOS 用 Vivaldi で拡張機能がすぐに使えるようになるかもなので。 :tony_smiling:

珍しく？Opera が比較に Vivaldi 追加してた。「私たちの VPN 機能の方がすごいよ！」と言う記事だけど。
ただ Vivaldi との違いは「アカウントの作成が必要かどうか」だったけど。😅

Vivaldi Snapshot の新しくなった広告ブロック機能の最強設定（Agressive）、とりあえず1日半試した感想だけど。
・まれにブロック対象から漏れた広告が表示されることがあるものの、ほぼほぼ広告をブロック。
・広告だけでなく広告が表示されてた場所ごとブロック（非表示化）。
・表示が爆速！
・広告ブロックブロッカーにたまにひっかかることも → その場合は「Agressive」から「Strong」に変えると消えることも。…とかなり満足度が高いけど。とは言え、例えば「広告ではないけどこの場所を消したい」とかはできないので。その点 uBlock Origin Light の方が使い勝手は良いと言えなくもないけど。
何の設定もせずこれだけできるのだから「これだけでも良いんじゃない？」と思う人は結構多そう。 :tony_smiling:
