What do you all use for voice commands in #Android during driving? I want to move away from #GoogleMaps + #YTMusic but don't know a good replacement for #Gemini in Maps. TBH controlling my music via voice in my car is one of the few features where #LLMs actually feel helpful because it's safer than using a touchscreen.
(I'm not using Android Auto, just Android + Bluetooth)

We are exploring @statichost, an elegant solution for hosting static websites in the EU.
First of all, registering an account on statichost is exceptionally fast and simple. Given that the web has turned into a giant mall, full of trackers, heavy websites, annoying pop-ups and banners, etc., having to simply enter an email address on a lightweight website to create an account feels really good.
Then, to add a website, you specify the Git repository comprising its source code, and how to build the pages. statichost relies on containers for the build jobs. Template configurations are available for building websites made with well-known static CMS (e.g., Zola, Hugo, Jekyll), but any OCI/Docker image can be used. You can even publish directly the content of a Git branch, which is the option we opted for. This way, we can keep our current CI/CD pipeline without major changes. We only added a final step to our pipeline to trigger the publication process on statichost via a webhook.

Don't hesitate to follow the accounts of other email providers, not just your own. 😉 Some reasons for doing that:
1st, some of them post nice content that is useful to everyone, not just their clients.
2nd, it's interesting to see what other European companies are doing and offering. Success stories, promotions, interesting facts, photos of teams and founders, useful tips...
3rd, learning about the various European alternatives helps us to recommend the most suitable option to our friends, even if it's a different email provider to the one we use. People may look for different criteria, such as prices, jurisdiction, ethics etc.
4th, let's support companies and associations that are active on the Fediverse. 💪💐
Finally, we never know when we might need to change provider, so it helps to have names in mind. 💡
