The Reflection and the Real

The poster girl gets the beach, the dunes, the perfect light and a 30% discount; the actual shopper gets a footpath, a purple handbag and a too-warm day in the town....

Versuchung / Temptation

These were things I was tempted to buy, but instead I just took a picture. Happy Sunday 😊

Last week in Michigan's upper, lower peninsula, I was thrilled to reflect on friendships and fond memories I hope you enjoy:

Found the perfect Hebrew teacher! 😴

This little guy at the bookstore is demonstrating the perfect example for today's Hebrew lesson - and honestly, who better to teach us about napping than someone who's clearly mastered the art? 🐱

Sometimes the best lessons come from the most unexpected places!

What Hebrew word should I cover next? Drop your suggestions below! 👇

I kinda want to go on a drive to the local IKEA and window shop... Haven't done so in YEARS! 😅

Nothing wrong in window-shopping. Who knows, maybe you'll find something you like?

@goblingua #windowshopping, which can be a dual pun to window-shopping and Windows-hopping. ;)

So tempting LOL (1972 Peugeot I do not need and cannot pick up anyway). #BikeTooter #WindowShopping

Another tempting bike in the thrift store bin, LOL. It will most certainly go up from that $10. I would guess $50-75. (Not great components though, Shimano Tiagra -- 105 and Ultegra are above that in class). Aluminum frame, carbon fork, 9.3kG. #windowshopping #BikeTooter

Already too rich for me (don't need a new bike, LOL... might buy one at $50 but not when it hits $100)... But looks like someone might get a very nice road bike for around $100. Depending on what kind of bidding war breaks out the next hour. Maybe $150, I guess, max. (Definitely good components on this, Ultegra).

It would be amazing if you browse my galleries. I was busy getting my daughter settled abroad for her studies and my promotion suffered a bit. Visiting my work will give my algorithm a boost and is very much appreciated.

We've got some trips planned through the rest of the year so, as you do, I went window shopping for camera gear.

Local vocabulary is important, but using it is even more crucial. This means constructing sentences, mixing and matching words correctly, and clear pronunciation to the local Israeli ear.

There's a smart, fast, and rewarding way to achieve this and start speaking Hebrew 🇮🇱

No need to scramble on your own or spend months on language apps collecting words. Instead:

1. Enroll in the only course you need to speak and deeply understand Hebrew.
2. Show up.
3. Follow my proven formula.

Are you in?

Let me know in the comments, and I'll show you how to start today 💙🤍
