Luckily, a fellow photographer was busy doing the same thing I was doing. I walked over afterwards and spoke to him and his wife. They are Swiss, over on holiday in a camper van. He had the tripod set up right on the edge with the camera low down to capture the heather and gorse flowering along the lip. The rain was falling steadily as I photographed this sign on the Sheep’s Head peninsula. Curious about the sign, I looked up The Anchorage and found this for sale page saying it was recently sold, but an archive.org copy from 2019 shows the seller was looking for €69...
