A Quiet Evening in Kinsale
Even on a calm evening when I took this photo, a moored boat moves about if given enough time. This long exposure shows the slight movements that show the water isn't quite as still. There's no wind to speak of, the surface looks like polished slate, and yet the boat is nodding away to itself, tethered to that bright red buoy like a child trying to stand still for a school photo. -
Next concert tomorrow - and the very first one we’re co-organising in Ireland with France Baroque and the Church of Ascension - will take place in the beautiful village of Timoleague, a place rich in remarkable history!
On the programme: “Les Folies Françaises” , in partnership with the community of the Church of the Ascension.

A boat disturbs the water
As you may have seen over the last few days I was taking photos of the boats moored in Kinsale Harbour. Until another boat came along and sped past, disturbing the scene and rocking everything about. Still a lovely evening there, and it was about time to move on anyway. 🙂
