Posters. Necessary at such times of elections, but political parties should know better - about where you can hang them, sizes permitted, etc. in particular, came across posters across the m6 at Ballinasloe by #SocDems European candidate. Traffic doesn't need distractions at legal limit of 120kph. We have an awful record on our roads at the moment. I know it's likely over zealous team members but political parties have organisation. So, organise ffs. And get those posters down #socialDemocrats

After much thought, I have decided to run in next year’s local elections.

Took my bike to the train station to get the train to Limerick to meet some of my #SocDems pals today. My initial instinct was to drive, but decided to try the public transport option. Under 50 euro return from Dublin. A good way to travel, would recommend - only gripe is that there’s no tea trolley!

The statement about #SocDems killing #RosaLuxemburg applies here, doubtlessly, I'm just at a loss about what we can do in contemporary societies to turn back the tide, which is why I keep coming back to #Mainstreaming as a means to achieve greater power. Things like rallies, organizations, podcasts, newsworthy events to force liberal media to acknowledge and engage with the ideas we promote instead of just not talking about them.

just was to a ver.di union meeting, and damn what a bunch of state-friendly #socdems. at least the speaker was, and i had the strong impression that people generally agreed with his ideology.
while discussing "digitization", he didn't once mention platform cooperatives or other forms of self-management. cooperatisation seemed to be a complete non-topic for these people, instead there was plenty of nostalgia for regular employment and state-owned infrastructure.
