Israel’s vile jingoist Smotrich is openly salivating about replicating the West Bank settlement model inside the 1948 borders - targeting Palestinian communities in the Galilee and Negev.

His Religious Zionism party has even dropped a toxic AI-generated campaign video feeding into the far-right finance minister’s plan to "Judaise" these regions.

Under the slogan “Ahmed is right to be afraid,” it shows a West Bank Palestinian warning a Palestinian inside Israel that Smotrich is coming to do "the same thing he did to us."

Smotrich’s plan to export the West Bank settlement model - illegal under international law - includes:

* flooding the Galilee and Negev with one million additional Jewish Israelis

* building 40 new communities plus dozens of farms

* expanding existing towns and constructing hundreds of thousands of housing units

* replacing any official judged insufficiently “Zionist”

Smotrich's rhetoric is typically laced with the venom of erasure when speaking of the Palestinian citizens of Israel, who constitute roughly 20% of the population.

More than 500,000 settlers already live in the occupied West Bank, and attacks by Israeli settlers on Palestinian communities have surged recently, with the IDF enabling the violence.
