It's reasonable and sensible for any parent to want to get their children out of an active #genocide. But the cost of leaving #Gaza, through a siege enforced by the #Israeli military, in the face of a world very unwilling to give #Palestinians visas, is enormous.

Who funds and directs the settler colonizer children attacking Palestinians in the occupied West Bank?
Israeli Anthropologist Idan Yaron, who has studied Israel's far right for ten years, says it's a loose network of "nodes," anonymous figures who pass instructions through closed online groups and phones. Around them, friend groups in outposts and herding farms scattered across the West Bank act on their own initiative, but inside the same ideology: anti-state, hostile to secular #Zionism, sold on a messianic goal they call "complete redemption," the conquest of Greater Israel.
The state funds it. The Ministry of Settlements equips those outposts with security gear, drones, night-vision devices and generators, and pays the kids roughly 50 shekels a day, plus food stamps and a clothing subsidy (per The Times of Israel). A separate 120-million-shekel government program for West Bank youth? Mostly settlement building, per Yaron.
The Hilltop Foundation, an unregistered outfit run by outpost youth, chips in through crowdfunding. Kids under 12 can't be prosecuted and they know it, so the youngest go furthest. They have become the vanguard now, and the army on the ground looks the other way as long as no Jews are in danger.
