Does it? How? The two aren't related. This is more of a far-right position because genocidal racism against brown people is in vogue for the far-right. It seems any Jewish person who isn't cartoonishly evil also disagrees with this odd claim. Gosh, imagine that! Whatta big surprise.

Despite the bleating from the usual quarters, it is good to see #Burnham at least putting some effort into an affair that many in the UK do support. And just to repeat, criticising Israel is NOT antisemitic ’jew hating’, unless people wish it to be (usual suspects, Hamas, Netanyahu amongst them) wish it to be - and both ‘sides' wish to paint it that way. Reject them both please.

[...] I’m a soldier who wants to remain anonymous.
The following relates to the area between the Yarmouk River in the north and the Alenbi Bridge in the south. The period was the end of July and the beginning of August.
Based on my own personal experience, I can testify to the following facts:
Every night, Arabs [Palestinians; OM] would cross the Jordan from the east bank to the west bank. We captured some of these crossings, and we received orders to shoot -intending to kill - without any prior warning.
Indeed, such shots were fired every night at men, women, and children, even on moonlit nights when the people crossing could be identified- meaning, they were able to distinguish between men and women and children.
In the mornings, we would go out to search the area, and we would kill people according to explicit orders from the officer on the scene - who were the living. This included those hiding and the wounded (and again: women and children among them).
After the killings, we would cover the bodies with earth; sometimes they were left on the ground until a tractor arrived that had previously covered them.
We discussed this all day, and it never stopped occupying us.
There are special cases I will never forget:
One morning, we found two men alive and uninjured. The officer ordered us to finish them off, and that is exactly what happened.
Or the case of two young men found in the morning with injuries to their legs. We spoke with them, and we took the [items/“things” not fully clear in the text] they had with them, and then the commanding officer ordered that they be killed. All of us left the place except one, who shot them with six bullets until he killed them.
On one of the mornings, I also saw bodies piled up - among them, a young woman.
In another incident, a member of Fatah pleaded for his life. When he saw we were preparing to give in (to let him live), he became angry and let out an aggressive curse, and he took our bullets (i.e. we shot him).
And one more case: at night, a group of about twenty men approached. We fired at them. In the morning, we found 11 corpses. Some of them were intact - those who were hiding. We seized them and transferred them across the Jordan without harming them in any way.

Though it may be said that the line between #EthnicCleansing and #genocide is somewhat fluid enough to play with the words — the craft of diplomacy — I find it repulsive that a word game is played at all at the expense of #Gazaians, West Bank and Lebanese Palestinians. -

Adam Raz, a researcher at the Akevot Institute, investigation in Haaretz is drawing on newly uncovered documents and previously unpublished soldier testimonies.
He found that during and after the 1967 Six-Day War, an estimated 300,000 Palestinians were expelled or displaced from the occupied West Bank, Gaza and the Golan Heights, amid violence, looting and the destruction of villages.
The article draws on the full transcripts of the "Soldiers' Talk" discussions held in kibbutzim after the war (testimonies that were left out of the book "The Seventh Day" and Mor Loushy's film Censored Voices. It also cites a December 1967 Foreign Ministry memo stating the expulsions were "a serious violation of the Geneva Convention," while noting the Ministerial Committee for Security Affairs approved the policy regardless.

So in the grand scheme of things this will be merely an annoyance for the Israeli government, but all European countries need to ramp up the pressure and not let them get away with the theft and murder on the West Bank. Interesting US response.

Just cancelled my @1password subscription after 7 years because while they’re free to fund someone who wants to ethnically cleanse Europe (David Heinemeier Hansson aka DHH; https://www.alilleybrinker.com/blog/1password-funds-ethnic-cleansing/), I’m also free to not have my money be used for that.
If you’re on macOS/iOS, here’s how I migrated without losing any data and without any noticeable degradation in my experience¹.
> TL;DR: To migrate from 1Password, I used StrongBox to create my KeePass Database file without losing any of my data and I’m going to be using KeePassium to manage it and, separately, heylogin for authenticating with web sites in the browser.
Read on for detailed instructions:
1. Export your data from 1Password8 in 1Password Unencrypted Export (.1pux) format: https://support.1password.com/export/?mac
**Note that this is unencrypted.** DO NOT store this file in your iCloud Drive, Dropbox, etc., and remember to delete it when you’re done with the import.²
(I put it in my home folder.)
2. Download StrongBox, a native macOS client for KeePass Database files: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/strongbox-password-manager/id897283731
3. Launch StrongBox and select File → Import → 1Password → Import 1Pux and select the file you exported from 1Password.
4. Choose a strong password for your database and save the file. This is where you can save it to iCloud Drive to have your encrypted database synced between your Mac, iPhone, etc.
You could leave it there and use StrongBox but I wouldn’t recommend it. It has the best importer so that’s why I used it but the app is owned by Applause Group, which is VC-funded so it will enshittify.
The good news is that once you’ve exported your data from 1password and have your KeePass Database, it’s yours. You can use different apps to edit it, provide autofill, etc.
One of those apps is KeePassium (https://keepassium.com/) by an independent developer (Dr. Andrei Popleteev). So, to continue our guide:
5. Download KeePassium (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/keepassium-keepass-passwords/id1435127111) and open your database using that client and uninstall the VC-funded StrongBox once you’re done with the initial import.
Again, you can stop here.
But, since I had the export, I thought I’d also try heylogin – a zero-password password manager only for logins that’s based in the EU: https://heylogin.app/
They have a novel solution that integrates really well with browsers and has been working great for me so far (in the past hour) :)
So, there you have it: I had seven years of data in 1Password (actually, likely far more as I was using it before it was a subscription) and I was able to migrate away in about ten minutes. (It’s taken me longer to write this.) You don’t have to stay locked in if you don’t agree with their ethics.
