#artfight #attack (revenge!!) I did way too many studies for this and I found out a few #moose facts along the way:
1) I couldn't figure out why so many reference images had kind of ratty looking fur...
.. it turns out that moose suffer from infestations a lot :( and it is affecting their declining populations. Also, they're in the swampy water a lot bc they're big they overheat really easily
2) they have a saggy nose and nostrils on the side of their face so that they can seal them off and eat aquatic plants while face first in the water. They use it a little bit like a proboscis, and can select specific types of plants similar to a giraffe
3) their toe hooves are uneven, the inner toe seems to be bigger than the outer
4) they have the tiniest tail ever
